Ama has over 10 years of experience in corporate Human Resources management, DEI consulting (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion), and training for Fortune 100, nonprofit, and university clients. This experience includes HR management, strategic DEI strategic planning/implementation, career development, culture change management, and creating & executing employee retention programs. She has facilitated national & international focus groups, developed, and implemented cultural assessments, and developed DEI policies and procedures.
Her experience also extends to extensive instructor-led and virtual instructor-led facilitation and coaching with an ability to lead and inspire people toward transformational change.
Ama’s corporate HR and consulting career includes frontline and executive leadership training, including global listen & learn projects; workplace civility; navigating race relations; allyship; cultural competence; interview & hiring bias; inclusive performance management; building a feedback-based culture; and unconscious bias; among other trainings.
With an MBA in Global Management, she focuses on the ability to leverage diversity and inclusion to accomplish business objectives while driving connections through authentic conversations to promote sustainable growth.
